The Barry Tourist Railway will be operating over the early May Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th & Monday 7th May 2018)

Barry Tourist Railway will be operating a 40 minute ‘out-and-back’ journey from Barry Island Station at 11.35, 13.10, 14.10 and 15.10hrs each day over the weekend, including a guided tour around the railway depot where our vintage trains are maintained and refurbished.

Alternatively visitors can use the Barry Island Station, located on Broad Street, details available via the Arriva Train's logo below.

Monday-Friday 06:50 to 13:20 Saturday 07:45 to 14:15 Sunday

Parking can be found at Harbour Road, just a few minutes walk from the museum. From 1 October to 14 March there is no charge for parking. Parking is also available next to the train station itself but please note, that the parking restrictions below apply:

1st June - 8th September 9:00am - 6:00pm 2 Hours, no return within 1 hour

Normal running times for Barry train services are:

11:45, 13:30, 14:30, and 15:30
