"Very enjoyable small exhibition, very knowledgeable and keen staff, WW1 trench exhibit well carried out "
"Even though the museum is quite small, there is so much to do and see and the volunteers who work there are just brilliant. They are so enthusiastic about their cause and are always so welcoming and friendly. My Dad loves sharing stories from the war with them and the volunteers are so informative.
We really think that anyone who visits the museum will have a great time and will treasure it, just like we do!"

"This museum is a little Gem and well worth the trip to Barry. Situated in Barry Island Railway Station, the museum is run tirelessly by war enthusiasts who give their time and energy to make this museum the success that it is. Just a stones throw from the beach, it really is worth a visit. "

"Stumbled across the Barry War Museum today. Only a small venue in the train station but really informative. Really helpful and well informed curator showed me and my baby around. Although it is small I was really pleased to have found it. They provide a free service, really impressed."

"Have been now about 4 times and each time you find new things to look at. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They have so much to see and many different archifacts to study. Would recommend going to the Barry war museum 100%. The organisation of the war weekend led us to enjoy a perfect day filled with so many memories and I can't thank the staff enough for their entertainment and hospilitality. Will continue visiting this place every time I visit wales. "
"My girlfriend and I, who are 19, stumbled across the museum on a day trip Barry Island and found it a really interesting and enjoyable place to visit. The staff were lovely, really knowledgable and very friendly. Learnt a lot about the war from the exhibitions. This would be an ideal place for a school trip."
